Genetics. They can suck. When you were a teenager you could put away an entire pizza without blinking an eye. Now—(like Uncle Mike)—you resemble that pizza!
As you age your metabolism does too. Probably because it’s rebelling against all the fast food you’ve left it to burn off for years. A sluggish metabolism means you no longer burn off fat like you used to.
No—you wear it!
Red Shred by MRI wants to help. I mean, first of all you need to finally acquaint yourself with the produce aisle and start eating healthily. And signing up for some sort of physical hobby or activity will pay dividends.
But, the right kind of diet pill can also speed things along.
Red Shred claims to be able to turn your body into a “furnace.” Dieting can slow down your metabolism further, impeding your efforts, but Red Shred will counter this, as you make the effort to eat small, “healthy” meals throughout the day.
While you cut back the empty calories, Red Shred will keep your metabolism revved up better than ever. Your energy levels will soar, you’ll become focused and motivated mentally, and fat burning—well, your body will becomes its own little incinerator!
But is this all bogus marketing, or will Red Shred really help you lose those inches of unhealthy fat?
Only the ingredients can tell us.
Red Shred Ingredients
The only ingredient in Red Shred that reveals its actual dosage is Chromium. Chromium is a proven blood sugar regulator to stop those harmful “spikes” that occur when you’ve eaten—particularly carbs and sugary foods. Spikes cause increased appetite which can lead to overeating, and cravings for more sugary snacks!
Chromium is a clinically proven ingredient in its correct 400 mcg dose. Unfortunately 50 mcg is not going to “get ‘er done.”
The other ingredients are found in a 1,127 mg “Proprietary Blend.” Blends usually hide ineffective individual ingredient dosage. Here’s what is in the blend:
• IGOB13 is a key agent in Irvingia Gabonensis seed extract—or, as it’s more commonly known, African Mango. This is a truly excellent ingredient that Dr. Oz cited as a “must-have for any medicine cabinet.” It breaks down mature fat so it can be burned as energy, and prevents the body from storing more fat. Unfortunately you need the correct dosage as used in clinical trial, which we doubt you’re getting in a blend.
• Cayenne Pepper—a great “blood thinner” but unproven scientifically for weight loss.
• Green Tea Extract—another truly excellent ingredient, Green Tea works in a myriad of ways, and is basically just terrific for your health. As far as weight loss is concerned, Green Tea contains natural caffeine and EGCG’s. Caffeine fuels metabolism and the latter oxidizes—or breaks down fat. Again, we doubt you’re receiving clinical dose in a blend.
Bottom line—there’s some good ingredients in Red Shred, but you’re probably not getting effective quantities.
