EZ Slim is marketed by HomeoCare, a homeopathic nutritional supply company, as a low cost way to help you lose weight.

Since homeopathic companies use all natural ingredients that generally have a very low risk for negative side effects, we were excited to see if EZ Slim could aid weight loss without any risk of harm to your body.

So we conducted a little research on this product to see what EZ Slim could bring to the diet industry.

Background

EZ Slim’s homeopathic approach to weight loss includes helping your body “respond properly to the signals it is being sent.” So rather than pumping your system full of harsh stimulants, EZ Slim tries to help your body know when it’s full so you don’t end up eating more than you’re supposed to.

EZ Slim also claims to be able to improve the health of your thyroid and other pituitary glands, thus increasing your body’s ability to burn calories while at rest.

Although we like the fact that EZ Slim doesn’t try any drastic approaches to weight loss, this product will still need some powerful ingredients to be able to accomplish everything on their list.

Ingredients

Unfortunately, EZ Slim isn’t packed with ingredients that have held their own in any clinical or scientific trials. In fact, most of EZ Slim’s ingredients are completely foreign to most weight loss products.

For instance, one of EZ Slim’s ingredients, anacardium orientale, is only used in the homeopathic world, and is usually used to treat a “duality of energies,” or schizophrenia.

Although it is still mysterious how anacardium orientale works to treat mental disorders, it is quite clear that this ingredient has not been shown to help people lose weight.

Another ingredient, hypothalamus, is merely the dried and powdered portion of the brain that is linked to the endocrine system via the pituitary gland.

Although the hypothalamus is responsible for certain metabolic processes, there has been no evidence to support the fact that eating dried hypothalamuses will increase its ability to perform.

Our Opinion

Since there are so many products out there that are both safe and effective, we don’t feel that you should have to settle for a disappointment like EZ Slim.
