Many weight loss supplements today claim to burn fat and increase the metabolism through thermogenesis. Caffeine is usually a main ingredient because of its thermogenic properties and its ability to create energy.
DopaLean does not rely on stimulants to burn fat and lower weight. They claim to have a stimulant free formula that is designed to safely limit the production of glucose and encourage the release of triglycerides from fatty tissue.
What You Need to Know
DopaLean contains only three ingredients:
1. Svetol
2. Vitamin C
3. Mucuna Pruriens Extract
Unfortunately, only one of the three ingredients is well-known and that is vitamin C. Vitamin C is a known antioxidant that can help cleanse the body and maintain your health. It’s also beneficial in skin care. Vitamin C does not play a major role in weight loss, though.
Svetol is an ingredient made by Naturex and comes from green coffee extract. It is designed to limit the production of glucose and promote the release of triglycerides which can allow the body to burn the fat. Not a lot of research has been done to prove the effectiveness of Svetol.
Mucuna Pruriens Extract is a fairly common ingredient, just not in weight loss supplements. It is used in sexual enhancing supplements. Mucuna Pruriens Extract contains dopamine which is a natural neurotransmitter. However, Mucuna Pruriens Extract really provides no link to weight loss.
Other Product Details
DopaLean comes in a container that holds 120 capsules, which can last up to one month. The cost of one container is $28.95, which is a relatively low price for a weight loss supplement.
The label suggests taking two capsules in the morning and two more at night. You should not use DopaLean while pregnant or nursing and you should always consult a healthcare provider if you are taking any other supplements or medications.
What We Recommend
DopaLean is a very basic supplement. We feel it is too basic and has no substance to convince us that it works. Svetol is the most important ingredient in DopaLean and it is simply too untested for us to give this supplement a good review. We recommend avoiding DopaLean, at least until more research and testing are done.
