Beauty Bum is a cream that promises to get rid of your unsightly cellulite by stimulating fat release after rubbing its formula on your skin.
Since there are few things that sound more miraculous than spot-cellulite removal, we decided to research Beauty Bum to see if its claims can be verified by any sort of science.
Beauty Bum claims to be the most complete transdermal fat loss formula on the market today. It promises to fight the signs of cellulite by increasing firmness and elasticity, giving you soft and radiant skin that is cellulite free.
They say that within two to three weeks of regular use of Beauty Bum you will see results that will not only make your skin look better, but will help you fit into smaller jeans and can even show you results on the scale.
Although we would really like to believe what Beauty Bum promises, we just can’t bring ourselves to.
Not only does Beauty Bum not seem to understand the exact process of getting rid of cellulite, but they also don’t do a good job of faking it.
A lot of its ingredients are various vitamins and minerals that may or may not be able to be absorbed through the skin. They also have a proprietary blend that contains certain stimulants like green tea extract, guarana extract, eleuthero root and yerba mate leaf.
These stimulants, while they might help dry out the skin, do not do anything to stimulate the burning of fat. If anything, they’ll just leave your skin irritated.
Some cellulite firmers are formulated to dry out the skin enough so that it will be tighter and reduce the appearance of cellulite. Although these haven’t been proven to help you lose weight, they have been shown to decrease the appearance of cellulite slightly.
However, the results of the skin dehydration lasts only until you walk around for a little while and your cells restore the moisture equilibrium. But even so, Beauty Bum doesn’t have the amount of caffeine needed to pull off this much.
